Ever since I was a child my family has owned a bookstore. I grew up adoring books and marveled at the number of people that would come in and out of the doors to purchase them. Though our store has grown and changed with the times, from traditional brick and mortar to its current online portal, Palermo Books set the stage for my love and appreciation of the power of the written word. As an adult with a few published books under my belt, I got to travel around from speaking engagement to book tour appearance. We were shocked to hear the same questions over and over again, "Can you help me write my book?" and "Can you publish my book when I am done?" So, knowing a key principle of business, when a need presents itself in the marketplace, build you skill and fill it! In 2009 we started our publishing house MIRACLEgirl Publishing under the MIRACLEgirl Entertainment umbrella and my parents expertise this aspect of the business has really been a blessing to not only see my goals come to fruition but assist others with their own as well.
