book) Self-Esteem & Literacy Development Workshops. Dynamic 14 week
leadership series challenging how young women view themselves, their current
circumstances, and introducing how-to adopt healthier daily decision making
habits.
*PROFESSIONAL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Job-readiness skills, resume writing,
interview skills, internet skills, Microsoft Office proficiency in
Excel/PowerPoint/Word Certification, goal setting, career mapping, internship
& job placement.
*CAHSEE/ SAT/ GED/ TEST PREPARATION
High School
completion & resources for higher education entrance are necessities for
our young woman's futures. Facilitators teach standardized testing techniques
using questions approved by the California Board of Education Standards and
Assessments. Look to MgLA to improve local graduation stats & youth
confidence through educational achievement.
